This is a podcast about personality theory and personal development. Primarily using MBTI, the host, an INTJ, talks about living out loud as an introverted intuitive-- a function that only INTJs and INFJs lead with (making up only 4% of the population). Essentialism
Saturday Mar 13, 2021
Saturday Mar 13, 2021
While this reflection is being named essentialism, it actually explores three different philosophies concerning knowing: idealism, realism and pragmatism. I'm leaving essentialism as the title as it relates to the an overarching impression I am experiencing about social interactions and the self. This particular episode is set to be Part I to that impression.

Pain Point
Monday Mar 08, 2021
Monday Mar 08, 2021
In this reflection, I finally reveal my deepest wounds and do so through the context of two frameworks: systems theory and "Mothers Who Can't Love" (a book published by Dr. Susan Forward). As anticipated, this episode is my longest to date (90 minutes in length) and is emotional (in the style of an INTJ of course). Listen with care. Please visit my website for more information on the two frameworks discussed: www.yournidom.wordpress.com. Note: The real value of this reflection begins somewhere around Minute 43 (there is insignificant chatter--due to discomfort- before then).

Sunday Mar 07, 2021
Sunday Mar 07, 2021
This reflection is about a single (specific and distinct) moment of growth. This is set to be Part 1 to a larger conversation about Apollo 13. Specific talking points: The INTJ Academic, intergenerational trauma, the nature and limits of self as the problem, the sexual instinct, and self-actualization.

Who Are You?
Saturday Mar 06, 2021
Saturday Mar 06, 2021
This reflection ends with the question, "Who are you when no one is looking?" Getting to this end, I talked about three fairly separate concepts: 1) Competing cognitive functions and traits; 2) Extroverted thinking going inward (when, how and why); and 3) long suffering, movement and progress. MBTI Frames: cognitive functions, facets, and the TeFi pairing.

Motivation
Wednesday Mar 03, 2021
Wednesday Mar 03, 2021
In this reflection, I talk motivation as a concept. First I explore repression as in what drives us to repress certain areas in our lives and then what motivates us to tackle those areas. I then talk about deadlines and procrastination--challenging us to think about stress as well as the different ways to understand time management. Finally, I conclude with a conversation around an academic treatment of motivation and connect it back to my initial consideration of repression. Theoretical Frames: MBTI- Fe, Te, and Ni; Enneagram 8, Trauma.

Can Light Co-exist with the Dark?
Sunday Feb 28, 2021
Sunday Feb 28, 2021
This reflection considers the dark as in what causes it. It challenges us to understand darkness as an external condition as opposed to an internal one. Finally, it asks us how we, as entities of light, enter into and re-engage with the dark?

Your Happy
Sunday Feb 28, 2021
Sunday Feb 28, 2021
I start this reflection thinking about actions I take when I am feeling sad. I bring consciousness to the feeling of sadness and then begin to question the state of my auxiliary function. In this reflection, I also talk about the three extroverted thinking (Te) activities that make me happy. I do fall into two political rabbit holes about the effectiveness of teachers and the historical treatment of black students. Frameworks Discussed: Enneagram Type 8, INTJ, and Anti-Racism (vs No Racism)

Darkness and Attraction
Saturday Feb 27, 2021
Saturday Feb 27, 2021
This reflection is about darkness (personal toxicities) and attraction (the ways you are naturally drawn to people). I end with a question that brings together these two consideration. How does your dark (even from the past) influence your attraction to people? Throughout this reflection, I consider this question for myself. MBTI Connection: INTJ's problem solving nature. Enneagram Connection: Totem pole desire's of Type 5 (as a disintegrated 8).

Resolve
Friday Feb 19, 2021
Friday Feb 19, 2021
The overarching theme of this reflection is about being resolved. In it, I talk about validated desires as well as a validated sense of self. Only through such validation will the resolve be cemented. To get to this end, I continue my reflections on social interactions. I highlight my need for rational exchanges, including those that are from the heart. Finally, I talk about fight, flight, and freeze, emotional intelligence and healing work. MBTI Points: Fe, Fi and Thinking.
