This is a podcast about personality theory and personal development. Primarily using MBTI, the host, an INTJ, talks about living out loud as an introverted intuitive-- a function that only INTJs and INFJs lead with (making up only 4% of the population). Intimacy and Sexual Energy
Monday Apr 05, 2021
Monday Apr 05, 2021
This reflection is Part I in a series on instincts (as relating to the Enneagram personality system [recorded March 6, 2021]). Here I talk about two of the three survival instincts (self-preservation and sexual) and align them to my identity as a Type 8 in that system. This reflection gets personal about sex, friendship, politics and spirituality in a way that is unusual for me in public spaces. As usual, there is a cool assignment at the end (which will eventually get posted on my website: www.yournidom.wordpress.com).

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
Friday Apr 02, 2021
Friday Apr 02, 2021
This episode ends with a discussion about growing and becoming your tomorrow. In route, I talk about bringing all my recent growth points together for a better whole and, more importantly, taking action. Part of taking action is understanding the relationship between your yesterday, your today, and your tomorrow. In the first part of the reflection I talk about learning, feeling settled and the approval of a major proposal (which is significant to that which I have been masterminding). This is a good episode for those who are entrepreneurial, spiritual and reflective.

The Core Self
Monday Mar 29, 2021
Monday Mar 29, 2021
This reflection ends with a question about the core self as being organized and stable. It also raises the question of pursuit when that core self is not organized and stable. Throughout the reflection, this question is being raised as a list of seemingly disparate events and concepts: yet, they all come together as a lens for unification and stabilization of the core. FYI: there are a few distractions in the first part of the reflection.

In the Dip
Sunday Mar 28, 2021
Sunday Mar 28, 2021
This Reflection is Part 2 to an ongoing reflection called "The Weekend." In it, I consider requirements necessary for being in the moment (the dip) and enjoy (not begrudge) the sensations of the experience. I also consider my life as the sum total of choices I've made in not being in the dip (not being a sensations person) and the implications of having different priorities because of it. I end with a powerful assignment--asking my listeners to question their relationship to the dip and consider new discoveries of the self when that relationship is inverted. Frameworks centered: ENFJ, ESFJ, Ni, Fe/Fi and Ni.

The Weekend. Part 1
Friday Mar 26, 2021
Friday Mar 26, 2021
Today is the start of a three-day birthday celebration with my sister. As an INTJ in the house with 9 other women (all from different walks of life) FOR THE WEEKEND, I thought it would be enlightening to keep a running record of my experiences and the reflections they inspire. This and the next few episodes will be different from others in this project. I am both expectant and hesitant and curious about what I will learn. This is truly Part 1. Stay tuned...

Temperature Check
Sunday Mar 21, 2021
Sunday Mar 21, 2021
This reflection ends with a question about the milder version of the self. Throughout, I talk about my self as an Enneagram EIGHT and come to understand when I'm compelled to be mild, medium or hot. This is a good episode if you want to understand the nature of the Enneagram as a personality system, especially if you are a Type EIGHT. I also talk a lot about INFJs, Feelings and Thinking. This is a jargon heavy episode so newbies to personality theory should be prepared to pause frequently and use the Internet to look up words and concepts.

The Overflow
Friday Mar 19, 2021
Friday Mar 19, 2021
This reflection ends with a discussion about the essence of a person that fundamentally forms their (pronoun intentionally selected) existence. I define this essence as gifted overflow and raise questions about quantity, control, reciprocity and relationships. In this part of the reflection I also talk about my own specific overflow and the ways I incorporate it into my work. To get to this ending point, I meander through a lot of randomness that could serve as good food for thought. Theoretical Frames: The Instinctual Stack (of the Enneagram)

Nuance, Growth and the Margins
Thursday Mar 18, 2021
Thursday Mar 18, 2021
This reflection pretty much has three parts. Part 1 is an update on the lessons I'm learning from the pain point. Part 2 is a discussion about the overflow of your sweet spot (expertise or super powers). Finally, Part 3 is about intrapersonal dynamics of social ills (it's a nature-nurture discussion about collectives without resources). The reflections ends with a cool assignment (and discussion) about nuanced identities.

The J Technology
Saturday Mar 13, 2021
Saturday Mar 13, 2021
This reflections opines a theory about xxxJs in the MBTI system. Whether that J removes or rebuilds, it is having an impact on the outer world for the sake of the Matrix (to protect it or to disrupt it). This reflection is the last installment of the social interaction series (Part III) where I use the Covid vaccine to help understand homeostasis and the social order. MBTI focus: Fe and Ti. Other important discussion points: growth orientation vs fixed orientation.

Vaccination
Saturday Mar 13, 2021
Saturday Mar 13, 2021
This reflection has two distinct halves. In the first half, I talk about getting the Covid 19 vaccine. Here, I fall into a rabbit hole about power (as in authority), small talk, and the methodical roll out to a mass vaccination process. In the second half I talk about the biological nature of the vaccine (as relating to antibodies, viruses, cells and mRNAs) and the way it functions in the body. This reflection is Part II to an impression I'm having about social interaction and the essential self (which started with the previous episode entitled "Essentialism"). Random points: natural selection/Darwinism; and schools re-opening/teachers as essential workers.
