This is a podcast about personality theory and personal development. Primarily using MBTI, the host, an INTJ, talks about living out loud as an introverted intuitive-- a function that only INTJs and INFJs lead with (making up only 4% of the population). The Adult Child
Monday Jun 28, 2021
Monday Jun 28, 2021
In this reflection, I consider feedback as a critical part of growing and the ways parents relate to the feedback offered through their children. Along the way, I talk about the sophisticated and unsophisticated ways children give feedback (loosely linked to their age development). I also talk about a 35 year friendship that holds a lot of memories in our traveling as children into parenthood (or not). Finally, I talk about my own growth as relating to my parents and learning (and accepting) reasonable expectations.

Intuition as a Gift and a Curse
Monday Jun 28, 2021
Monday Jun 28, 2021
In this way, I explore my unique brand of intuition and the ways it has helped and hindered me. Possible points of interest for the listener: the deep knowing of another person's power, core and shadow; intimacy work contingent upon identity work; and the interrelatedness of interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence (and understanding it as a single phenomenon related to the sense of self).

Listening to Seven INTJ Women Part 3
Sunday Jun 27, 2021
Sunday Jun 27, 2021
In this reflection, I continue my response to seven INTJ women interviewed on YouTube (see Parts 1 and 2 to learn more). Main concepts: childhood as an INTJ; the perceived wellness (or not) of the INTJ; and the predictive nature of the INTJ (and my judgement against it). The true reflection actually begins around Minute 18 with the start of the episode being dedicated to updates on conversations covered in earlier episodes (my sister and family trauma, Season 2, and my previous two reflections).

Zone of Proximal Development
Sunday Jun 27, 2021
Sunday Jun 27, 2021
In this reflection, I use a theory used in education, called "The Zone of Proximal Development", to explore my next growth point. I spend time talking about the theory from a technical lens. I then apply the theory to help me understand my motivation (and lack thereof) towards my business and my needs as a lifelong/continuous learner.

Dual Relationship with the Outer World
Sunday Jun 27, 2021
Sunday Jun 27, 2021
This reflection actually has two distinct parts. While I end talking about insights about my dual relationship with the outer world (as a dominant perceiver), I spend most of the reflection 1) presenting a theory I have about introverted intuition (in which I liken to a photographer and his camera) and 2) applying the theory to help me understand my morning experience of understanding (at a deeper level) an experience I had two days earlier. Important randomness: the Depth of INTJ knowing and who has unrestricted access to such knowing?

Giftedness
Saturday Jun 26, 2021
Saturday Jun 26, 2021
This reflection has two parts that come together for a consideration on giftedness. In the first part, I talk about academic and critical pursuits in a space antithetical to advanced thinking. In the second part, I talk about unknowingly interviewing for a position beyond the level of the position in which I applied. I close the reflection by loosely talking about the five traits of giftedness.

Being Online
Saturday Jun 26, 2021
Saturday Jun 26, 2021
In this reflection, I talk about psychosocial play online. Specifically, I tell the story of someone who tried to accuse me of not being able to notice/follow social cues. Along the way, I also talk about observing the outer word, the inner world and the online world. Finally, I talk briefly about observing the body and post-humous traditions and taboos.

Trauma, Growth and Friendships
Saturday Jun 26, 2021
Saturday Jun 26, 2021
In this reflection, I talk about intergenerational trauma and how it plays out around you. I also talk about personal growth (as relating to that trauma). Finally, I talk about interest-based friendships as opposed to trauma-based friendships. Random points: Se/Te readiness; INTJ with ENTJ tendencies; and Daddy updates.

Power and the Matrix
Thursday Jun 24, 2021
Thursday Jun 24, 2021
In this reflection, I lean into the social sciences and my academic research on power. I share my thinking about power-over and power-under as being two sides of the same coin. I then contrast the power-over/power-under phenomenon against power-sharing. Finally, I talk about the matrix and the natural ways we all participate in the one of the two interpersonal power-structures.

Loving through the Confusion

Wednesday Jun 23, 2021
In this reflection, I use my two dogs to consider loving that is hurtful.
