Disdain

In this reflection I deal with being told that I'm odd and abnormal. To do this, I start unpacking "Gifts Differing; Understanding Personality Type" by Isabel Briggs Meyers and I Peter Meyers (a book that I purchased as a birthday gift to myself).

Ethical Being

In this reflection I analyze my emotions and reaffirm my commitment to being action oriented. Typology: Te and Fi axis.

Meaning and Belonging

In this reflection I explore the idea of a Midlife Crisis as a turning point (one of many throughout one's life) and accept that, whether I call it a crisis or not, I am being challenged to rethink my approach to meaning and belonging. Trans- Sensory

Reluctant Resolve

In this reflection I address fatigue as an issue and the politics of pushing through it. Additional themes: The individual versus the institution; Judge Jackson and the Supreme Court nomination hearings; and Naming and fighting battles. Typology: INTJ8; 8INTJ; INTJ1; INTJ5; and INFJ6

When Fear is the Problem

In this reflection I finally accept fear as the core barrier to my growth. Main themes: Living in the shadows; Organizational attraction; Efficiency and effectiveness (conviction versus skill); Interdependence; Employment; and Structural security. The Learning Curve

In this reflection I push through old lessons to get to a new lesson (self-acceptance). Things get a little emotional towards the end but I work my way through it. Being Direct

In the past week, I've been accused of being both direct and indirect. I use this reflection to interrogate what seems like a contraction. In the end, I come to terms with directness being a condition of context: who, what, when, where and why. Additional themes: Leadership; Courtship; Trauma; Self-care; and Analysis. Bastardized Growth

In this reflection I talk about elevation, integration and calibration. In short, growth is about all three. When we don't integrate and calibrate, we bastardize the growth.
