The Irrational
Saturday May 28, 2022
Saturday May 28, 2022
In this reflection I consider my spirituality and my struggle with it as an irrational part of my being. I also contend with several scriptures to help make plain the hidden laws and principles of greatness. Finally I challenge myself to rethink my current struggles as spiritual -- and embrace it ultimately as irrationally rational. Contributing texts: Proverbs 18:16; Romans 12:2; Ephesians 6:12; Matthew 25:14-30. Typology: Ni; Te; and Si.

White Supremacy
Saturday May 14, 2022
Saturday May 14, 2022

The Impression
Saturday May 14, 2022
Saturday May 14, 2022
This morning, I awakened to a grand impression relating to white supremacy. I used this reflection to lay the ground for that discussion. Please understand that I never actually discuss white supremacy in this episode. Instead, I spend half the time talking about impressions as related to introverted intuition. The second half is then about the work space when irrational behavior is presented as rational. I conclude the reflection with a question about the irrational (especially since it's presented as rational). Note: I plan to answer this question in the episode that follows as a Part II. Additional themes: Delimited power; Behaviorism; Adult power; Trauma scores and abuse; Black on Black relations; and Supervision. Typology: Intuition and Sensing

Thursday May 12, 2022
Thursday May 12, 2022
In this reflection, I consider four philosophies as a frame for existential meaning making. Supporting themes: Determinism; Indeterminism; Free will; Plato's allegory - The Cave; Second half of life; bell hooks's writings on black womanhood; Racial caste system; the Racial elite; and white as a political designation (not as an ethnicity).

The Lesson
Friday May 06, 2022
Friday May 06, 2022
In this reflection, I confront the absurdity of trying to change the system and, at the same time, rank up in it. I also acknowledge that some growth points are so substantive that the lesson must be repeated until we truly get it. Finally. I confess that I'm just not there yet. Hence, the lesson continues. Supporting themes: Systems theory (I will upload the notes within one week of this post at yournidom.wordpress.com); Faith; and Self- narratives. Typology: Enneagram 3 and 4s; Tritypes; Ni/Te conflict; and Intuition/ Sensing conflict.

Iconoclastic and Gifted
Sunday Apr 24, 2022
Sunday Apr 24, 2022
This reflection starts off talking about being an iconoclast and ends talking about being gifted. To complete this reflection, I read from two texts ("Gifts Differing" and "Can You Hear the Flowers Singing"). In the end, I come to terms with the interrelatedness between INTJ, Type 8 and Gifted people. Supportive themes: Divergency; Excitability; Sensitivity; Perceptivity; and Entelechy. Typology: Enneagram; and Meyers Briggs.

Coercion by Correction
Saturday Apr 16, 2022
Saturday Apr 16, 2022
In this reflection, I inadvertently bring two events together to unpack the sociology of being... as related to power, superiority and authority. Much of it explores social norms around being a woman and looking at gender through the intersection of race (as well as class).
