In this reflection I address the gift of seeing gaps as a burden when trying to do friendship. I also explore the skill of addressing those gaps and the way having this skill becomes an added burden. Finally I consider the contest that can arise when extraverted judging functions (Te and Fe) convene in one space. Additional themes: Power and language; critical theorists, whiteness and echo chambers; and critical theorists, blackness and opportunity. Typology: Ni; Te; Fe; and Type 8.
